Women’s Rights and Gender Justice
The Coalition for Peace and Gender Champions advocates for women at the grassroots level in Kenya to be involved in addressing various social, economic, and political challenges that hinder women’s full participation and equality.
Coalition for Peace and Gender Champions works on the following areas in response to Women Rights and Gender Justice.
1.Education and Awareness: Enhancing access to education for girls and women, and promoting awareness of women’s rights at the community level.
2.Legal Reforms: Advocating for laws and policies that protect women’s rights and promote gender equality, and ensuring the enforcement of existing laws.
Coalition for Peace and Gender Champions consists of different organizations and grassroots movements in Kenya who are actively working to advance women’s rights and promote gender justice.
Coalition for Peace and Gender Champions engages in advocacy and also works to change societal attitudes and norms regarding gender roles and women’s rights
